The Patriot Foundation works to provide sustainable funding to enhance opportunities in the arts, academics, athletics and activities for students in the Pequot Lakes School District.
The Patriot Foundation was first created in 1999 and re-launched in 2018 to support scholarships for graduates of Pequot Lakes Schools and to provide ongoing financial support for school district efforts and grants that cultivate innovation.
The Patriot Foundation is a Partner Fund of the Initiative Foundation. As a program of the Initiative Foundation, all Patriot Foundation contributions are professionally managed and stewarded for the benefit of the community now and long into the future.

Goals of the Fund
The Patriot Foundation seeks to:
- Create unforgettable learning experiences for students through classroom innovation, field trips, etc.
- Provide students with opportunities for real world career exposure and STEAM activities through bringing in community resources, internships, career days, art presenters, clubs, etc.
- Provide opportunities for children who need one through scholarships for students to participate in activities, learning experiences, access technology, and scholarships for students applying for to attend a post-secondary institution.
- Invest in our teachers through supporting them with learning opportunities that align with the district vision.

- Fifth-grade Hat Knitting: $1,200
- Long Lake Conservation Center Trip: $1,500
- Dye Sublimation: $2,480
- Startup of E-sports Program: $3,000
- Shop Improvement: $3,500
- Pequot Lakes Scholarship Program: $5,000
- Robot Drivetrain: $220
- Digital Art Making: $4,000
- Outdoor Exploration Kits: $1,000
